DipIFR Examinations

What is covered in the DipIFR exam?

There is one examination for the Diploma in International Financial Reporting (DipIFR). Key areas of the syllabus are as follows:

  • International sources of authority
  • Elements of Financial Statements
  • Presentation of accounts and additional disclosures
  • Preparations of external reports for combined entities and joint ventures

When is the DipIFR Exam?

The Exam can be taken either in June or December. The exact dates are published on the ACCA website and you will be send a personal notification of the date and location by the ACCA once you have registered to take it.

Where is the exam location? 

Usually the DipIFR exam is organised by ACCA in Bucharest, Timisoara, Cuj, Iasi. You will be announced by the ACCA with the exact location in due time.

How long is the exam?

The DipIFR exam is a 3 hours and 15 minutes written paper. 

What is the pass mark?

You need to get 50 marks out of possible 100 marks to pass the exam.

Your chance of passing will depend to a large on how much time and effort you allocate to the study process.
