Diploma in International Financial Reporting builds on the technical and practical knowledge acquired from recognised country specific accountancy qualifications or relevant work experience. 

Is DipIFR appropriate for me?

DipIFR is appropriate for you if:

  • you want to be able explain the international regulatory framework of financial reporting, or
  • you want to discuss and apply specified International Accounting Standards and International Financial Reporting Standards to practical situations, or
  • you wish to prepare financial statements in accordance with specified International Accounting Standards, International Financial Reporting Standards and International Financial Reporting Interpretations Committee (IFRIC) pronouncements, or
  • you want to prepare group financial statements including subsidiaries, associates and joint ventures

     

The DipIFR syllabus

The syllabus introduces the candidate to the wider international framework of accounting and the system of standard setting. This conversion course concentrates on the application of conceptual and technical financial accounting knowledge that candidates have already obtained to the specific requirements of financial reporting under international professional regulation and standards.
