How successful are BPP students in ACCA examinations?
The ACCA awards Platinum Status to training providers who meet or exceed a range of demanding standards set by the ACCA. One of the criteria is that the training provider must be able to show that its students attain exceptionally high success rates in their examinations.

BPP Professional Education is the only training provider in Romania to have achieved Platinum
Status. We are very proud of our pass rates and attribute them ot the fact that our Education Team
works hard to research and develop the very best and most advanced training methods. We
believe our methods, materials and teaching styles are second to none. Please feel free to ask any
of our student what they think.

How many exams do I have to take?
Unless you are awarded exemptions you will be required to pass 14 exams:

  • All of the Fundamental Level Knowledge Module papers,
  • All of the Fundamental Level Skills Module papers,
  • All of the Professional Level Essential Module papers, and two out of the four available Professional Level Options Module papers

Will I get exemptions?
Your previous qualifications may entitle you to exemptions from certain ACCA examinations. To find out if you are eligible for exemptions go to the exemption support page of the ACCA website.

Sometimes it may not be in your best interest to apply for, or to accept, exemptions. It will depend on how you feel about studying, how long it is since you last studied, and how confident you are with the subject material. You should bear in mind that the higher level papers will rely on information from the lower stages of the qualification.

If you would like to discuss your route through the qualification please contact Adriana Mangaru la adrianamangaru@bpp.ro.

When are the exams?
The ACCA gives accreditation to certain training providers to run Computer Based Examinations (CBE) for papers F1, F2 and F3. BPP Romania is an accredited CBE Centre and therefore you can take exams for papers F1, F2 and F3 with us at any time by prior arrangement. To arrange a CBE exam sitting please contact Oana Funaru at oanafunaru@bpp.ro.
BPP organises CB exams for the June 2010 exam sesssion in the following dates:

  • 21 - 22 June
  • 19 - 20 July

Exams for all other subjects (and for F1, F2 and F3 paper-based exams) are taken in June and December each year. They take place in the first half of the month. To find exact dates visit the ACCA qualification - Examination Timetable on the ACCA website.

Where are the exams?
Computer Based Exams (CBE) for papers F1, F2 and F3 will be held at BPP premises.
Paper based exam sittings are arranged directly by the ACCA, usually at Rin Grand Hotel Bucharest. The location will be confirmed by the ACCA when you receive your Examination Attendance Docket.

How many exams can I take at the same time?
The ACCA permit you to take a maximum of 4 exams at each sitting (i.e. four in June and four in
December each year).
Do I have to take the exams in order?
The modules must be taken in the order shown above but within a module you can choose which
exams you take at each sesssion.
How long are the exams and what is the pass mark?
  • Papers F1, F2 and F3 are 2 hour exams whether they are taken as computer-based or paper-based exams.
  • All other papers have 3 hour paper-based exams
  • To achieve a pass in an exam you must score 50%
